Cynthia Bourgeault

Cynthia Bourgeault is a modern day mystic, Episcopal priest, writer, and internationally acclaimed retreat leader. She divides her time between solitude in her seaside hermitage in Maine and a demanding schedule traveling globally to spread the recovery of the Christian contemplative and Wisdom paths.

She is the founding director of an international network of Wisdom schools, uniting classic Christian mystical and monastic teaching with contemporary practices of mindfulness and embodied presence. She has been honored as one of the 100 most spiritually influential living people in 2021.

Ted Jones

TED Jones

Ted Jones is the nephew of the late Father Thomas Keating, and he was present at Father Thomas's bedside for much of the last month of his life.

Ted is a teacher of Buddhist Insight Meditation.

Colleen Thomas is a Spiritual Director and Television Producer with an MA in Theology and Art from Fuller Theological Seminary. Based in Los Angeles, she is founder & curator of Soul Care LA.

Dr. Jana Rentzel is a psychologist, meditation teacher, and trained spiritual director. She has a Master’s degree in PsychoSpiritual Counseling and a PhD in Spiritual Psychology.

Fr. Carl J. Arico is a founding member of Contemplative Outreach, and honored to have known Fr. Keating since 1969. He was present for the first intensive Centering Prayer retreat that Fr. Keating offered in 1983. Fr. Carl is author of A Taste of Silence.

Rich Lewis is an author, speaker and coach who focuses on centering prayer as a means of inner transformation. He teaches centering prayer in both his local and virtual community and offers one-on-one coaching. Rich is author of Sitting with God: A Journey to Your True Self Through Centering Prayer.

Tia Norman honors the contemplative aspects of life as a meditation guide and teacher who pulls from the lineage of Christian contemplative spirituality. She serves as Pastor of The Awakenings Movement based in Houston, TX where she lives nearby with her two children.

Jill Benet

Jill Benet has been an active member of the Centering Prayer community for over 20 years, training presenters and facilitators while leading multiple retreats and groups. She is well versed in the teachings of Advaita & is a lifelong meditator. Jill is currently completing certification as a teacher and guide as an Inner Relationship Focusing Professional.
